PYROLYSIS PLANT

Solid Waste Management

The global issue of waste management is becoming increasingly prominent, and AKBE aims to address both waste tyre and plastic disposal problems while creating a valuable product. The pyrolysis of waste tyres and plastic allows AKBE to produce diesel and petrol, two products that can be used as an alternative to conventional fossil fuels.

This process will also result in byproducts such as carbon black, steel, and oil gas, which have additional market value. This project is an innovative way to create value from waste, helping to solve both waste management and fuel scarcity issues, contributing to the circular economy while providing a sustainable energy source.

AKBE aims to leverage the pyrolysis process to convert waste tyres and plastics into high-demand products: diesel and petrol. Through innovative technology, the business will tackle critical issues surrounding waste disposal, particularly in the case of non-biodegradable plastics and discarded tyres, while producing valuable fuel that can be sold to fuel distributors, government entities, and private sectors. By addressing both environmental and energy challenges, AKBE will play a pivotal role in South Africa's green energy transition.
